After spending the wonderful night at Sam dessert started my journey towards Jaisalmer. While walking on the road, one car offered me to lift. I obliged. Jaisalmer is termed as “The Golden City” and it’s actually true because every corner of the city gives you the vibrant feeling of Gold charm. This small cozy town with a population of 50,000 people stretches to approximate 5 Km.

Jaisalmer Fort (Also known as Sonar Quila): This is the of the oldest fort in Rajasthan. Most unique thing about Jaisalmer fort is this is a live fort. There are so many temples, roof top cafes, museums in the Fort. There are four entrance Ganesh Pol, Rang Pol, Bhoota Pol and Hava Pol, These are famous for their design sculpture. You can feel the divine spirit in temples, Have a gimps of history of Jaisalmer in museums, Can enjoy the sunset with coffee or you just take walk on street and click pictures. This fort has the small world of itself.

Patwaon-ki-Haveli: this is the classic example of marvelous architecture, which completed in the span of 60 years. It was the mansion of merchant and his sons. It has five small clusters. It also contains paintings and tools used by former owner of Haveli.

Gadsisar Sagar Lake: an Origional idea of the lake was to preserve rain water. Currently, serves the purpose of giving best landscape to click pictures. There are so many temples and structures around the lake.

Kuldhara Abandoned Village: I have heard about this village. It was a village of Paliwal’s since the 13th century but in the 19th century due to one or other reason, this became abandon. Currently, there are ruins of the old house. It is roughly 18-20 Km from Jaisalmer. There is small cactus park also on the way to Kuldhara but it is not maintained nowadays.

Bada Bagh: It is located around 6 km away from the main city. There are royal cenotaphs in bada bagh. People generally came here to click pictures with structures.
